Our first three issues did include skin retouching, but then we thought, "You know what? What's so bad about a pimple or a wrinkle?" Nothing! We are all amazing—no body changing either. #ThePowerOfReality. We try to promote body and mental health with real, honest, positive interviews.

HEY GIRL is an independent, positive, and empowering media brand with a mission to free people from stereotypes using the power of creativity. The magazine was founded in 2014 and became a limited company in 2017 by photographer Simon Clemenger. It aim was to tell the personal stories of fashion models through beautiful, iconic photography.
With the second issue, Simon quickly realised that HEY GIRL needed to grow to include a larger range of creative female artists, including musicians, dancers, actresses, and fashion models. By the fourth issue, it made sense to feature all people under the HEY GIRL banner of freedom and love. Now, with the reissue of the sixth issue, we are pushing towards creating a media platform that strives to work with many different types of people, using creativity to bring us all together.
HEY GIRL Tv features short films, interviews, and music videos—moving images that inspire, entertain, and empower. HEY GIRL Radio is all about discovering new music talent and showcasing artists’ new music, whether they are signed or unsigned—we love them all. HEY GIRL News shares powerful stories, ideas, and information that inform, touch, and inspire us all, with no negative news to catch out the interviewer.
We’re building online platforms like “HEY GIRL World” for all creatives. We want to showcase talent and support empowering creation, helping individuals break free from judgment into a world of positive self-discovery, inner power, and pure collaboration.
