GAEYA — ‘Emptiness’ | New Single
Midsummer’s Eve is the longest light of the year — and GAEYA couldn’t have timed this better.
The GAEYA ‘Emptiness’ single arrives today, tethered intentionally to Sweden’s most sacred holiday. Alongside it comes the full Growth EP — built to draw strength from the sun, to hold you through transformation, and to remind you that even in difficult times, there is always something worth celebrating.

The video for ‘Emptiness’ is a gift. Filmed on Midsummer’s Eve 1976, it’s a time capsule of pure, unfiltered joy — people together in nature, fully present, before smartphones and personal branding swallowed our attention whole. It asks a quietly radical question: what is the real you, without all of that?
The track itself is lush synth pop that opens into something still and spacious.
"If we allow ourselves to feel and see what goes on inside — by turning off the constant flow of distractions — we get access to another kind of stillness. Instead of feeling draining, it feels empowering. It gives us a space to feel who we truly are without judgment."

That’s the thread running through all of Growth. From the tribal momentum of ‘Higher Ground’ to the glacial, ancestral chant of ‘The Lucky Ones’, this is music that doesn’t just want you to listen. It wants you to feel, remember, and grow.
“We are all walking this journey together,” GAEYA says. “Perhaps now more than ever, it is time to join forces, support one another, and grow through these transformative times together.”
