The GAEYA ‘Emptiness’ single arrives today, tethered intentionally to Sweden’s most sacred holiday. The video for ‘Emptiness’ is a gift. Filmed on Midsummer’s Eve 1976, it’s a time capsule of pure, unfiltered joy — people together in nature, fully present, before smartphones and personal branding swallowed our attention whole. It asks a quietly radical question: what is the real you, without all of that?
The track itself is lush synth pop that opens into something still and spacious.
