HEY GIRL began as a bold fashion magazine spotlighting the lives and styles of today’s models, pairing cutting-edge photography with personal, untold stories. The very first issue was a collection of breathtaking photo stories, all shot in nature. It harnessed the freedom, power, and beauty of natural settings to inspire readers and celebrate authenticity.

To be honest, we used to retouch images in this issue, as it was standard practice in fashion at the time. But as HEY GIRL grew, we made a bold decision to stop retouching skin altogether, embracing realness and championing self-acceptance.

Over time, HEY GIRL has evolved into a platform for everyone—a celebration of diverse creative voices, from musicians and dancers to actors and artists.
